33 Years of T&T
T&T Iron Rule #1: Upholding Integrity
What sets T&T apart is not just how we’ve become a destination for food discovery. It’s about who we are. At the core of everything we do is Iron Rule #1: Upholding Integrity.
As we grow, we have welcomed so many new people to the T&T family. Most recently, we welcomed over 128 new colleagues over at Erin Mills! For those who recently joined, you may have seen posters in our lunchrooms:

As you may know, this is our vision of Winning Culture:

Unfortunately, we have seen instances to the contrary. We found team members in the Meat Department putting regular meat labels on premium meat, selling them at discounted prices to colleagues, friends, and family. Another time, at the front end of the store, a cashier used customers’ non-member purchases to earn points for their own T&T rewards app.
T&T has a zero-tolerance policy on using your position for personal gain. Unfortunately, we do catch these from time to time, and we sadly had to part ways with these employees. We have the same expectations of integrity for our buyers, suppliers, and other support centre staff. This means things like not accepting gifts or bribes, no “sweethearting” and no kickbacks. No matter your role, we should use company resources wisely.
We expect all of you to speak up if you see something that doesn’t feel right. You can contact our Integrity Action Line at 1-800-525-7868 or at www.integrityactionline.com.
Integrity shouldn’t just be part of our work but part of our everyday life. Upholding integrity is sacred because it’s important to how we hold ourselves as a business, and as a member of our community. When we all operate with integrity, everyone wins. We can be outstanding in the industry, open new stores like Erin Mills, create more jobs, and give the best value for money to our customers!
