Galloping Together into the Year of the Horse
Dear T&T Family,
As we welcome the Lunar New Year, it’s a meaningful moment to pause and reflect. The past year has been filled with hard work, laughter and remarkable achievements. As we close one chapter and begin another, I want to say thank you, and happy new year. Because of your hard work, T&T has become a space that bridges cultures and generations and brings a sense of home to so many.
The Year of the Horse is a symbol of drive, optimism, and forward motion - a perfect time to celebrate what we’ve accomplished and look ahead together.
We’ve taken the lead and achieved exceptional growth.
What began as a simple dream has carried us far. Last year, we opened 2 new stores across Canada and the U.S., bringing T&T’s unique concept to those who have not experienced all that we have to offer. We’ve also laid the foundation for 6 more stores in the coming year. This would not have been possible without your dedication. We’ve established ourselves as not just the best Asian grocer in North America, but the best grocery retailer, period. That’s something to be proud of!
We’ve built strong momentum and a powerful team.
At a time when many companies are slowing down, we are fortunate to continue to expand – something that’s rare in today’s economic climate. Many colleagues have already stepped into new roles, taking on new responsibilities, and even moving to the U.S. to further their careers. The opportunities are endless. In the year of the Horse, I encourage you to be bold, embrace change, and invest in yourself to grow your career at T&T.
We’re keeping a steady pace and moving ahead with confidence.
Even as we grow, we stay grounded. Our values continue to guide how we build: from keeping our customers as #1, continuing to innovate, and caring for the communities we serve, we will move forward with ambition and care. Staying true to these values will help us create a strong foundation that keeps us advancing with confidence.
The year ahead is exciting and filled with opportunities. Together, this Year of the Horse can be one of progress and shared success. My heartfelt wishes to you and your loved ones: may the New Year bring you good health, happiness, and prosperity!

Professional Value in Inventory Management
(Unionville Store) Store Admin Dept. Keyky Chen
During the annual inventory count, Bing became a highly recognized key contributor to the team through her strong professional expertise and strong sense of responsibility. Faced with a wide variety of products and large inventory volumes, she demonstrated an exceptional level of familiarity with both inventory quantities and item category. Whether for regular or key items, she was able to quickly assess whether inventory levels were reasonable and accurately identify potential variance areas.
The inventory results showed outstanding accuracy in the areas under her responsibility, making a significant contribution to the store’s overall inventory accuracy performance.
More importantly, Bing is not only able to “count accurately,” but also to “understand what the numbers mean.” With her in-depth understanding of product categories and sales patterns, she was able to promptly identify abnormal fluctuations in high-value items and proactively communicate with relevant departments for verification. Her insights provided valuable leads for the Asset Protection team during product investigations, effectively reducing potential risks.

Her professionalism is reflected not only in strong data results, but also in her high level of responsibility toward store operational safety. Through her actions, Bing has demonstrated that professionalism, attention to detail, and accumulated experience are critical foundations for stable store operations. Her performance has strengthened the team’s confidence in inventory management and set an excellent example for her colleagues.

About Punctuality
HR Dept.
Clocking in and out on time according to the schedule is a basic workplace principle that everyone is familiar with and understands. However, in daily operations, are we truly putting this principle into practice?
Recently, there have been multiple instances where colleagues have frequently failed to follow their scheduled working hours. Examples include repeatedly arriving late without prior notice to supervisors, extending working hours on their own due to late arrival, extending break times without authorization, failing to clock in or out as required, or being absent from the workplace for extended periods during scheduled working hours.
Store schedules are arranged based on actual operational needs. When colleagues fail to report to work as scheduled, it can not only disrupt store operations but also place additional burdens on other team members, ultimately affecting customer service quality. Unfortunately, in response to such situations, the company must issue disciplinary actions as reminders. Depending on the severity, this may ultimately result in termination of employment.
The company values punctuality and integrity and is committed to being fair to all colleagues who follow schedules and comply with regulations. Occasional special circumstances are understandable, but colleagues are expected to communicate with their supervisors in advance so adjustments can be arranged. Occasional incidents are fundamentally different from repeated behaviors. Punctuality is not just a rule—it is an attitude toward work. Reporting to work according to scheduled hours is not only essential for operational needs, but also a concrete expression of responsibility, honesty, and accountability to oneself and to the team.
