勇於挑戰,向前衝!


John是DF店收貨部同事,工作勤懇,認真負責,是店裡公認的標竿。John在國內時,是一位消化系統醫生,為了讓孩子有更好的生活環境,放棄了在大陸的穩定工作,來到這邊從頭開始。一開始他任職雜務助理,不管是刮風下雪,每早都第一個來店裡開門,檢查店內情況。每次有活動,也是由他爬上爬下完成佈置。

疫情期間,他每天一到店,就會消毒所有的購物車和購物籃,每早都能看到他忙碌的身影。雖然工作單調,他卻樂在其中。也許原來是醫生的緣故,他做事細而精,總是想方設法完成各項工作。一個人力量是有限的,但John積極敬業、任勞任怨,所發出的光芒,起到很好的帶頭作用。


除此之外,這種光芒讓店長決定指派John執行更重要的收貨工作,讓他做好我們全店的後盾。同時,他也得到所有主管的肯定,被推選為DF店全年最佳員工。希望以後的日子裡,我們能繼續攜手共進。

性騷擾,零容忍,不扭曲


最近碰到一對夫妻檔同事,老公在工程部,老婆在商品部,他們是在T&T結緣的。想想看,在這麼多人的公司裡互相找到愛情,真是太酷了。但在譜出戀曲之前,在公司一般男女同事互動,就要特別小心,不可越界,不然就可能變成性騷擾。


一般性騷擾,都是男生對女生(抱歉),所以我先跟男生說說。欣賞一位女生,沒毛病,公司本來就希望大家互相欣賞。但必須有分寸,要知道,就算只是口頭上的輕浮,都可能讓女生不舒服,更別說有意無意的肢體接觸了。公司對性騷擾是零容忍!零!


女生呢,如果有男生示好,妳當然高興被人欣賞,說不定又會成為另一對夫妻檔。但如果妳無感,或反感,就應該馬上明確回應,讓事情戛然而止。如果情況演變成糾纏,甚至是肢體接觸,妳完全有權利去人力資源部投訴,他們一定會幫到妳。


當然妳不應無限上綱。比如有男同事只是約妳共進晚餐,這不算性騷擾,妳可以說不。妳更不可扭曲誣陷,比如過去就發生過,一位女生捕風捉影投訴一位男同事,還辭職回頭控告在T&T上班時被性騷擾,想賺一點份外之財。汙衊了別人,還讓投訴扭曲,真是太不應該了。


我們是一家男女平權的公司,我自己就是女生,大家也看得到,公司裡男生女生很平均。公司有責任確保我們的工作場所是安全的。在T&T,我們「樂在工作,開心生活」,對性騷擾,零容忍!不扭曲!

Rise to the challenge and rush on forward!


John, who works in Receiving Department in DF store, is hardworking, responsible, and is recognized as the store's benchmark. He was a Gastroenterologist in China. To provide his kids with a better living environment, he gave up his stable job and came here to start all over. He was the general assistant when he first started working here. He was always the first to open the store in early morning regardless of weather conditions. Whenever there were events, he was always the one to decorate the store.

During the pandemic, when he arrived the store in the morning, he would bustle about sanitizing all the shopping carts and baskets. Although work can be monotonous, he always finds joy from within. Maybe it's because he used to be a doctor, he is incredibly detail-oriented and meticulous, and always finds a way to complete all the different tasks. There may be a limit to one man's strength, but John is dedicated and hardworking, and leads by example.


And this is precisely why the store manager decided to assign John to take on the more important work of receiving goods, providing support to our entire store. At the same time, he also received affirmation from all department heads and obtained DF store's Best Employee of the Year. We hope to continue working together hand in hand in the days to come.

Zero Tolerance for Sexual Harassment.


Recently, I met a couple who are our colleagues, the husband is in Engineering while the wife is in Merchandising, and they got married at T&T. How cool it is to find love with each other in a company of so many people. However, before composing a love song, the interaction between male and female colleagues in the company must be very careful. Do not cross the line, or it may become sexual harassment.


Generally, sexual harassment is always from men to women (sorry), so I will talk to men first. It’s no problem to appreciate a woman, the company encouraged everyone to appreciate each other. But please be careful, knowing that even verbal frivolity may make woman uncomfortable, let alone intentional or unintentional physical contact. The company has Zero tolerance for sexual harassment! Zero!


To woman, should you be approached by a man, of course you are happy to be appreciated, and maybe two of you will become another T&T couple. But if you don't feel it, you should respond with a clear signal and make it stop immediately. If the situation turns into entanglement or even physical contact, you have every right to complain to the Human Resources, and they will certainly help you.


But in that moment, if someone approaches said ‘Hey, can I take you over dinner outside of work’ - does that equal sexual harassment? No, you can say no, that's a question and give an answer. Also, it should not be distorted, for example, it happened in the past, a woman complained a male colleague, she resigned and accuse her of being sexually harassed at T&T, just trying to make some extra money. It's really wrong to slander others and distort complaints.


We are a company with equal rights for men and women. I am a woman myself, and everyone can see that the men and women in the company are very even. It's the company's responsibility to ensure our workplaces are safe. At T&T, we ‘Work-life Happy’ and have zero tolerance for sexual harassment!
