店長、主管,謝謝你們!


本是菜部包菜員的我,在內場工作一段時間後,萌生了不如離職回家顧小孩的想法。結果,在偶然下跟店長交談,他得知我的性格外向,喜歡和人打交道,便將我推薦給廚食主管。通過他們,我瞭解到大統華的願景和機遇,便很高興地轉到廚食部。


我很快便完成BBQ和點心服務崗位的培訓實習,開始服務廣大的顧客。這工作讓外向的我熱情高漲,尤其在包子節時,我總在想辦法推高包子銷量。我大聲熱情地招徠客人,熱心地向他們介紹包子;我又牢牢記住十幾種特價包子,根據顧客喜好和需求作出推薦。雖然又忙又累,但卻很有成就感。皇天不負苦心人,經過兩週的努力,OW在東岸包子節取得銷售第一。這是我來加拿大兩年來最充實滿足的時光,回家我還可以自豪地跟孩子分享:「媽媽今天很努力地賣出很多包子,顧客吃得很開心,還有很多回頭客哟!媽媽很有成就感啊!」

感謝店長和主管的關心,讓我有轉崗位、發揮銷售潛能的機會,可以樂在工作、開心生活!現在我還開始學習營運管理知識呢。希望通過分享我的經歷,可以把大統華贏的文化傳遞出去!有大統華,真好!

食品安全不容出錯


食品安全把關是大統華非常重視的價值觀,公司嚴格要求員工遵守所有相關規定。


分店廚食部和麵包部製作完食品後,有可能會安排試吃,以確保產品品質。然而,近日發現幾位同事違反試吃的規定,包括未經批准試吃、過量試吃、或是給無關的同事試吃。不僅如此,同事還在不適當的地點進行試吃。


同事因貪求一時方便或覺得不會有人發現,違反了員工守則“內部商品品質檢驗"規定,不適當的試吃會造成食品安全隱患。試吃品亦屬公司財產,未經付款不得隨意轉贈他人,員工的違規行為不僅為部門帶來損失,亦與公司誠實正直的文化背道而馳。


公司文化與價值觀,有賴所有同事共同努力遵守。食品質量及安全是公司最重視的環節之一,正因爲如此,違反規定的員工被給予紀律處分,並再次進行教育。食品安全是不容出錯的,因此同事必須嚴謹遵守所有相關規定,大統華才能不斷提供高質量的產品。

Thank you to my Store Manager and Department Head!

After working as a packer in the Produce Backroom, I was thinking to quit my job to take care of my child. But then one day I talked with the Store Manager coincidentally. After learning that I was an extrovert who enjoy interacting with people, he recommended me to the Kitchen Department Head. I learned more about the vision and opportunities at T&T through them and transferred to the Kitchen Department happily.


I quickly completed training for the BBQ and Dim Sum service positions and began serving customers. As an extrovert, this job energized me. Especially during the Steamed Bun Festival, I constantly looked for ways to increase sales. I was loud and enthusiastic to attract customers. I memorized a dozen discounted buns and recommended based on customers’ preferences. I felt a great sense of achievement although it’s busy. My hard work over those two weeks was validated when OW ranked first in sales for the Steamed Bun Festival in eastern region. In the two years since moving to Canada, this was my most fulfilling and satisfying moment. When I got home, I proudly told my child, “Mom worked hard to sell lots of buns today, customers were very happy and there were many repeat customers. I feel a great sense of achievement!”

Thanks to the care of my Store Manager and Department Head, I had the opportunity to transfer and realize my potential in sales. I am now even learning about operations management. I hope that I can pass on T&T’s winning culture through this sharing. It sure is great to have T&T!

Food safety leaves no margin for error


T&T places extreme value in “food we can trust” and requires employees to strictly abide by all relevant regulations.


To ensure quality, food sampling may be arranged when food products of Kitchen and Bakery Department are ready. However, recently a few colleagues were found violating the food sampling rules, including unapproved sampling, excessive consumption, sampling with unrelated coworkers, and even sampling at inappropriate locations.


Employees violated rules of “Sample for food quality (Internal)” stated in the Staff Handbook out of convenience, assuming no one would find out. Inappropriate food sampling can result in food safety hazards. Moreover, sample food is company’s property that cannot be given out without payment. These violations have not only resulted in department losses, but also goes against the company’s culture of integrity.


A company’s culture and values rely on compliance from every employee. Food safety and quality assurance is our company’s top priority, thus employees who violated the rules have faced disciplinary actions and are undergoing training again. Food safety leaves no margin for error. Employees must strictly abide by all regulations so that T&T could keep providing high-quality products.
