閃亮2022,大統華,大豐收


一年辛苦,又到年終,在大家共同的努力下,今年我們在各方面的表現都非常耀眼。尤其在十二月,我們更一口氣連開了兩家新店,為2022年畫下了圓滿燦爛的句點。


十二月初,我們在亞省北卡加利的Sage Hill新店開幕,西岸團隊表現精彩。十二月中,東岸團隊不讓西岸專美於前,在魁省蒙特利爾St. Croix又開出法語區第一家店,獲得空前成功。


我誠摯感謝全國所有團隊,大家排除萬難,充分合作,再次證明了我們的實力。我更歡迎近500位新夥伴加入大統華大家庭,和我們一起大步前行。




明年、後年,我們還有更多的店要開,還有更多的夢想要實現。大統華欣欣向榮,展翅高飛,將不斷挑戰新領域,服務更多社區,要真正成為世界級零售業的一塊金字招牌。


除了感謝,還是感謝,祝大統華大家庭和每一個小家庭的所有家人,心想事成,萬事如意,平安健康,幸福滿滿!

良好的標竿


古往今來,勇於承擔的故事屢見不鮮,背後彰顯出的責任感卻無可比擬。其實勇於承擔的事蹟,在我們身邊也比比皆是。


OP店的肉部,近兩個月人手短缺,副主管Milonie主動出來分擔部門壓力。她忙碌的身影出現在辦公室、包裝間、賣場和貨架前,不僅完成了協助主管運營部門的本職工作,同時還填補了各方面的空缺。即使這樣,她也毫無怨言,還主動提出多上一天班,盡她所能幫助部門緩解人手短缺的情況。同時她又身兼技能導師,即使再忙,仍然在繁重的工作中「忙裡偷閒」,培訓和指導新員工,一刻不曾鬆懈,與部門一同走過艱難時刻。

她的事蹟雖然少了些豪情壯志,但她承擔責任的這份精神,卻在部門內樹立了良好的標竿。

關於感謝


「樂在工作,開心生活」是大統華的價值觀之一。我看過一篇文章,提及互相感謝有助於提高團隊士氣,讓大家能開心地工作,建立相同的價值觀,然後向著相同的目標前進。


工程部和總倉的辦公地點靠近,讓我看到總倉同事的工作狀況。特別是疫情期間,又或者大時大節,分店訂單越多,揀貨員的工作就越累。畢竟總倉的工作不只是在電腦上打打文件,而是實幹的,有一百箱貨的訂單,就得切切實實地搬一百箱貨。有時忙起來,同事更會工作到半夜,沒有一點怠慢。

有說「No Farmers, No Food (沒有農夫,便沒有食物)」。其實除此之外,我們還是「No Pickers, No Food (沒有揀貨員,便沒有食物)」。因此,我很想藉此對總倉的同事表達感謝。

沒錯,員工之間又或是部門之間的感謝相當重要,因此公司才會有感謝卡。鼓勵各位同事善用感謝卡,向其他同事或部門表達謝意吧!

一時貪念,後悔一生


近來嚴重的通貨膨漲和不斷上漲的物價,都成為大家生活中的最大議題。物價、油價和房貸,方方面面都直接或間接增加了我們的生活成本,使每個人的生活負擔變得沉重。儘管如此,我們仍須謹記誠實正直的基本信念。


連續幾個月,分店偷竊的事件層出不窮,然而,令人震驚的是,好多個案都是內部員工所犯,而且是已在大統華工作多年的資深員工。其中幾位資深同事在上班期間,悄悄地將商品藏進自己的夾克中,未結帳就帶出分店;也有同事一時起貪念,在為顧客結帳時,以為不會有人在意,就偷偷使用自己的積分卡賺取積分,以換購商品。


偷竊包括多種形式,公司對此類行爲絕不姑息。保安會按照程序報警處理,而偷竊的員工會面臨被公司解僱的懲罰。


這些員工知法犯法,不僅損害公司的利益,同時也把自己的名譽毀於一旦。在這裡,我們想要再次提醒大家,誠實正直不僅是公司最重視的文化,也是人與人相處的基本之道。一時糊塗的貪念,帶來的是嚴重的後果,生活再艱苦,也千萬不要讓自己的人生因此而沾上不可抹滅的污點,後悔莫及。

Our Victorious and Prosperous 2022


As another year comes to its end, I would like to take this chance to thank you for all your hard work and invaluable contributions to this amazing year. Especially for December, we even opened 2 new stores in one go and it draws our 2022 to a perfect end.


Early this month, we have our Sage Hill Store opened in Calgary and the WR team has performed outstandingly. Giving zero chance for the WR team to monopolize the limelight, our ER team opened our first-ever store in a French-speaking area, St. Croix, in Montreal soon after that and we achieved another unprecedented success together!




This year has been filled with a multitude of both challenges and achievements. No matter what the economic climate has been, we have preserved together as ONE united team and come out stronger. Our team upheld their concentration and let not one opportunity go and we have made impressive progress in our business goals. I would also like us all to give a big applause here to welcome the 500 new joiners to our T&T warm family and team up to be well-prepared for more challenges ahead.


Following a prosperous 2022, let us create even more victories in the coming years. Enthusiasm and positiveness are building around new opportunities for us and more dreams to come true in 2023. T&T is moving huge steps toward the world stage and soaring to new heights.


Thank you once again for your commitment and efforts in helping T&T reach its full potential. Best wishes to you and all your family members over the festive season and may your new year be full of joys, sparkles, and good health. Setting a good benchmark

There have been many stories of bravery throughout time, yet it is the sense of responsibility in these stories that are unparalleled. In actuality, courageous acts happen everywhere around us.


In last few months, OP store's Meat Department has been dealing with manpower shortage. Assistant Department Head Milonie took the initiative to help - bustling around the office, packaging area, store, and shelves - completing her responsibilities of assisting the Department Head in department’s operations and filled in wherever needed. Yet she never complained, and even offered to work an extra day, doing everything to solve department's manpower shortage. In addition, no matter how busy she was, she would always find time train and guide new employees. She never down her guard support the department during the difficult time.

Her deeds may not involve lofty sentiments and aspirations, but her sense of responsibility has set a good benchmark for the department.

About giving thanks


"Work-life happy" is one of T&T's values. An article I once read mentioned that expressing gratitude towards one another can help improve team morale so that everyone can work happily, establish the same values, and move towards the same goal.


Due to the proximity of the warehouse and engineering department, I was able to see the working conditions of warehouse’s colleagues. Especially during the pandemic or any major festivals, the more orders the store received, the more tiring the work was for our pickers. Work in the warehouse isn't simply typing up documents on a computer but involves physical work. If there are 100 boxes in orders, then 100 boxes of goods will need to be moved. Sometimes when it gets busy, our colleagues will work until midnight without hesitation.

They say, "No Farmers, No Food". Actually, it's also, "No Pickers, No Food". Because of this, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues in the warehouse.


That's right, expressing gratitude amongst workers or departments is extremely important, which is the reason the company has thank you cards. I encourage everyone to make good use of the thank you cards and express their gratitude to other colleagues or departments.

A moment of greed leads to a lifetime of regret


Severe inflation and rising prices have become the biggest topic of discussion lately. Commodity prices, gas prices and mortgages have all directly or indirectly increased our cost of living, adding to everyone's financial burden. Despite his, we must keep the basic values of integrity in mind.


For a few consecutive months, incidents of theft have emerged one after the other. The shocking thing is that many cases are committed by some employees who have worked at T&T for many years. A few of them snuck merchandise into their jackets while they were on duty and left the store without paying; When helping customers cash out, in a moment of greed, some employees secretly scanned their own rewards card to earn points and redeem merchandise.


Theft comes in many forms, the company will not condone any form of this behaviour. According to procedure, security will alert police. Employees who steal will face termination by the company.


These employees intentionally broke the law, damaging not only the interests of the company, but also destroying their own reputation. We would like to remind everyone once again, integrity is extremely important to the company, and in society. A moment of greed can bring serious consequences. No matter how difficult life may be, please do not make an irreversible mistake as it may be too late to repent afterwards.
