閃亮2022，大統華，大豐收
一年辛苦，又到年終，在大家共同的努力下，今年我們在各方面的表現都非常耀眼。尤其在十二月，我們更一口氣連開了兩家新店，為2022年畫下了圓滿燦爛的句點。
十二月初，我們在亞省北卡加利的Sage Hill新店開幕，西岸團隊表現精彩。十二月中，東岸團隊不讓西岸專美於前，在魁省蒙特利爾St. Croix又開出法語區第一家店，獲得空前成功。
我誠摯感謝全國所有團隊，大家排除萬難，充分合作，再次證明了我們的實力。我更歡迎近500位新夥伴加入大統華大家庭，和我們一起大步前行。
明年、後年，我們還有更多的店要開，還有更多的夢想要實現。大統華欣欣向榮，展翅高飛，將不斷挑戰新領域，服務更多社區，要真正成為世界級零售業的一塊金字招牌。

美容顧問曉燕姐
朗豪坊分店美妝部有一位氣質出眾的姐姐，總是及時又耐心地幫助顧客，積極推薦產品，給出最真誠的建議。她就是我們的曉燕姐！
曉燕是在UV店服務了10年的開店元老。她剛開始是菜部員工，每天除了勤懇工作，還利用業餘時間進修美容醫藥專科文憑。在得知雜貨部缺人，為了學以致用，曉燕主動向主管了解部門需求，最後獲批轉到雜貨部的非食品和Be Beauty專區學習。在短時間內，她就掌握了相關的工作流程，還能對各類商品如數家珍。後來，全職的美容顧問突然請長假，她憑藉突出的表現及相關專業背景，正式成為我們店的美容顧問。
成為美容顧問後，曉燕熱情周到的服務每一位顧客，在微信群總是第一時間回覆和美妝相關的疑問，更會主動推廣美妝部的產品，特別是熱賣商品，她總可以圖文並茂的在微信群中宣傳推廣，還不時分享美妝和健康知識。在她的帶動下，商品豐滿度大大提升，得到很多顧客的喜愛和信賴，並成為UV店美妝部的忠實消費者。哪怕在疫情後生意不穩定，我們的美妝部還是達到雙位數的增長。
勇於承擔、享受美妝區工作的曉燕，更成為今年我們首批升職的承諾兼職工(Committed Part-Time)呢。只要肯努力一定很能成功，讓我們一起成長吧！

讓我自豪的大統華大家庭
2012年10月9日，我抱著一顆好奇忐忑的心走進WB店面試，正式開啟了大統華的工作旅程。當時我應聘了UV店麵包部的外場服務人員。之前我只知道大统華是一間總部位於溫哥華的大型連鎖超市，並沒有太多其他認知。
我從一個兼職員工到部門主任，從中央麵包部的助理行政崗位到助理採購員，再到採購員。這十年不同職務的變遷，讓我在成長中體會良多。我個人常常把T&T詮釋成Traditional & Trendy (傳統和潮流)。在店裡，我可以採購到各式各樣的亞洲美味食品，有傳統風味的，也有潮流網紅的。相信無論是客人還是員工，都會深刻感受到「有大統華，真好！」
前幾天，在和蒙特利爾的供應商通電話時，她說：「你們馬上在蒙特利爾開店，太好了。你知道嗎？我很喜歡中國文化及中國飲食。蒙特利爾雖然已有很多亞洲超市，但我相信你們一定是最棒的。」
作爲大統華大家庭的一分子，這番話讓我感到無比自豪。通過飲食來傳承文化是公司一直以來的信念，相信蒙特利爾店的開幕，將為公司的新旅程碑拉開序幕。

一時貪念，後悔一生
近來嚴重的通貨膨漲和不斷上漲的物價，都成為大家生活中的最大議題。物價、油價和房貸，方方面面都直接或間接增加了我們的生活成本，使每個人的生活負擔變得沉重。儘管如此，我們仍須謹記誠實正直的基本信念。
連續幾個月，分店偷竊的事件層出不窮，然而，令人震驚的是，好多個案都是內部員工所犯，而且是已在大統華工作多年的資深員工。其中幾位資深同事在上班期間，悄悄地將商品藏進自己的夾克中，未結帳就帶出分店；也有同事一時起貪念，在為顧客結帳時，以為不會有人在意，就偷偷使用自己的積分卡賺取積分，以換購商品。
偷竊包括多種形式，公司對此類行爲絕不姑息。保安會按照程序報警處理，而偷竊的員工會面臨被公司解僱的懲罰。
這些員工知法犯法，不僅損害公司的利益，同時也把自己的名譽毀於一旦。在這裡，我們想要再次提醒大家，誠實正直不僅是公司最重視的文化，也是人與人相處的基本之道。一時糊塗的貪念，帶來的是嚴重的後果，生活再艱苦，也千萬不要讓自己的人生因此而沾上不可抹滅的污點，後悔莫及。

Our Victorious and Prosperous 2022
As another year comes to its end, I would like to take this chance to thank you for all your hard work and invaluable contributions to this amazing year. Especially for December, we even opened 2 new stores in one go and it draws our 2022 to a perfect end.
Early this month, we have our Sage Hill Store opened in Calgary and the WR team has performed outstandingly. Giving zero chance for the WR team to monopolize the limelight, our ER team opened our first-ever store in a French-speaking area, St. Croix, in Montreal soon after that and we achieved another unprecedented success together!
This year has been filled with a multitude of both challenges and achievements. No matter what the economic climate has been, we have preserved together as ONE united team and come out stronger. Our team upheld their concentration and let not one opportunity go and we have made impressive progress in our business goals. I would also like us all to give a big applause here to welcome the 500 new joiners to our T&T warm family and team up to be well-prepared for more challenges ahead.
Following a prosperous 2022, let us create even more victories in the coming years. Enthusiasm and positiveness are building around new opportunities for us and more dreams to come true in 2023. T&T is moving huge steps toward the world stage and soaring to new heights.

Beauty Advisor Xiao Yan
There is a lady with outstanding temperament in UV store who always helps customers in a timely and patiently, gives sincere suggestions, and actively recommends products. She is our very own Xiao Yan.
Xiao Yan is a store veteran who has worked at the UV store for 10 years. She first started in the produce department. Besides working hard every day, she studied for a diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. When she knew the grocery department was in short hands, she talked to the Department Head and wanted to apply what she had learned. Transferred to the non-food and Be Beauty session, she mastered the workflow and the product information quickly. When the full-time beauty advisor suddenly took an extended leave, she officially became our store's beauty advisor due to her outstanding performance and relevant professional background.
After that, Xiao Yan served every customer with enthusiasm. She was always the first to respond to any beauty-related inquiries, actively promote beauty products, particularly hot-selling products, and share beauty and health-related knowledge in the WeChat groups. Due to her efforts, many customers have become our loyal consumers. During pandemic, our beauty department could still achieve double-digit growth.
With a strong sense of responsibility and passion, Xiao Yan is in first batch of Committed Part-Time employees to be promoted this year. It just goes to show, if you work hard, you will succeed. Let us grow together!

Being a part of the T&T family gives me great pride
On Oct 9, 2012, out of curiosity I went into the WB store for an interview and kick-starting my career at T&T. At the time, I applied to be a service associate at UV store's bakery department. All I knew at the time was that T&T was a large supermarket chain headquartered in Vancouver.
I went from a part-time employee to Supervisor, from an administrative assistant in Central Bakery to Assistant Buyer, and then to Buyer. The many different positions I've undertaken in the last 10 years have helped me gain experience and contributed to my growth. I personally always say T&T stands for Traditional & Trendy. I can source all kinds of Asian delicacies in stores, whether it be traditional or trendy. I trust that whether it is our customers or our employees, we all feel that it's great to have T&T!
Few days ago, a supplier from Montreal told me in a call, "It's great that you are opening a store in Montreal. You know, I love Chinese culture and Chinese food. Although there are already a lot of Asian supermarkets in Montreal, I believe that yours will be the best."
As a part of T&T's big family, those words gave me immense pride. The inheritance of culture through food is the company's longstanding belief. I trust that the opening of the Montreal store will mark a new milestone for the company.

A moment of greed leads to a lifetime of regret
Severe inflation and rising prices have become the biggest topic of discussion lately. Commodity prices, gas prices and mortgages have all directly or indirectly increased our cost of living, adding to everyone's financial burden. Despite his, we must keep the basic values of integrity in mind.
For a few consecutive months, incidents of theft have emerged one after the other. The shocking thing is that many cases are committed by some employees who have worked at T&T for many years. A few of them snuck merchandise into their jackets while they were on duty and left the store without paying; When helping customers cash out, in a moment of greed, some employees secretly scanned their own rewards card to earn points and redeem merchandise.
Theft comes in many forms, the company will not condone any form of this behaviour. According to procedure, security will alert police. Employees who steal will face termination by the company.
These employees intentionally broke the law, damaging not only the interests of the company, but also destroying their own reputation. We would like to remind everyone once again, integrity is extremely important to the company, and in society. A moment of greed can bring serious consequences. No matter how difficult life may be, please do not make an irreversible mistake as it may be too late to repent afterwards.
