親愛的夥伴們,

 

在我們贏的文化十大天條中,第一天條就是「誠實正直」!它是我們許多人從小在家就養成的價值觀。在家裡很重要,工作中更重要。然而,我們總還是有同事做不到誠實正直,最常見的,就是員工偷竊!



你敢相信嗎?最近有一家分店負責收貨的同事,竟然想從火災逃生門偷運商品出去!還有兩名廚食部同事與一名收銀同事合夥,不付款就帶走商品!

 

這實在令人震驚,也完全不能接受。今天我要把話說清楚 – 我們對任何違反誠實正直的行為,絕不姑息!公司一直在擴充資產保護團隊,並導入新科技,違規的行為都會被抓包!

 

而令人遺憾的是,有一些我們的前同事,就因為員工偷竊,嘗到了無法挽回的苦果。要知道,公司對員工偷竊的懲罰是立即解雇,並報警,而警方的記錄將永久留存!千萬不要心存僥倖,換來一生背負案底,還會讓你在未來找工作時處處碰壁。

 

所以我今天對大家的要求很簡單:不要心存僥倖從公司偷竊,萬勿以身試法!反之,如果看到有同事從公司偷竊,必須馬上舉報!舉報很重要,如果不聞不問,最終受害的將是我們所有的人!



歸根結底,如做不到誠實正直,大家都要付出代價:店內購物要支付更高的價格,工資和員工福利還可能縮水。做正確的事永遠都是最好的選擇。維護T&T的良好信譽,同時也是維護我們個人的聲譽,只有這樣,我們才能共創美好未來。

維護安全可靠購物環境的後盾

(College分店) 分店行政部Zoe Wong


CL分店有一位工作能力傑出且態度親切的領導 — 雜貨部副主管Leon。他的不僅在雜貨的銷售舞台上發光發熱,更默默支援整間分店的營運。


親力親為是這位大將的工作準則。他總是樂於放下手上的工作,向有需要的同事伸出援手,讓整個雜貨部團隊充滿凝聚力和合作的精神。同時,他以友善親切的態度對待每一位下屬,時刻關顧著他們的工作和生活,鼓勵他們做出更好的表現,使他深受下屬們的愛戴。


除了雜貨部的職務,Leon還經常擔任晚班當值經理,對整個店內的情況瞭如指掌。他時常巡查廚房部門,確保其整潔程度達到衛生標準;海鮮部門水缸的清潔與水質、店內冷藏庫到冷凍庫的溫度等都逃不過他的法眼,他就是這樣為商品的品質和安全把關。



在CL分店,Leon不僅是品質守護者,更是團隊的急先鋒。他的努力和奉獻,為每一位顧客提供了安全可靠的購物環境,對CL店的營運貢獻了重要的力量。讓我們向這位默默耕耘的英雄致敬!


創造出屬於我們自己的傳說

(東岸分店支援中心)中央麵包部Jennifer Yuan


從加入大統華以來,我一直認為麵包部是一個非常有趣並充滿創意的部門,當中包括自主研發新品及網紅流行人氣商品。以芒果生吐司為例,從上市到結束銷售,一項單品居然創造了11萬銷售額的優異成績。更重要的是,這款產品只能在大統華才買得到。


一個新品的研發,不但要考量成本,也有可能要面臨沒有配方借鑒的考驗,同時還要確認生產流程是否符合實際操作。在日本,有一家店叫Truffle,他們的鎮店之寶是一顆非常平凡的無内餡小包,每位客人進店限購3顆。這款包就是風靡亞洲的人氣網紅商品 — 海鹽松露卷。由於效期的原因,我沒辦法把實物樣品帶回來,而且沒有配方,也不知道人家的生產工藝及流程,只能憑藉記憶,把味道和口感以口頭描述給師傅。


經過無數次的失敗之後,我們的團隊總算研發出有T&T特色的純牛油海鹽松露卷,讓客人吃出溫暖的感覺。我們終於創造出屬於我們自己的傳說。







決不允許在網上發表負面言論

當今社交媒體盛行,在網上發表言論十分普遍。我們在強調言論自由的同時,也應意識到負面言論會帶來的責任。近期,就有同事因未以尊重且正確的方式談論公司及同事,包括惡意攻擊並洩漏同事個人隱私,需要為其錯誤行為負起責任。


在公司裡,每一位同事,包括管理層,都有表現得不盡完美的時候。當同事感到委屈或不滿時,可以循公司不同的渠道求助和反映。我們鼓勵同事發聲分享想法和需求,共同解決問題,營造更好的工作環境。不過,大家須謹記要使用正確的方式與管道。在網上惡意攻擊同事或公司、發表負面言論、洩漏同事隱私信息或公司機密信息,都屬違反規定,公司決不允許。


同事間互敬互重是公司強調的文化之一,公司不會容忍任何有損他人聲譽或隱私的行為。這樣的行為不僅會對整體工作環境造成負面影響,更可能帶來法律問題。期待所有同事遵守公司的行為準則,共同維護和諧的工作氛圍,以促進個人成長和團隊的成功。

Upholding Integrity at T&T


Dear Team,

 

There is a reason why “Uphold Integrity” is #1 in our 10 iron rules. It represents values that many of us from Asian families were raised with. It’s important at home, and it’s important at work. Yet, it is something that we struggle with. The most common way this rule is broken? Theft by employees!

 


Can you believe that a store receiver recently tried to sneak merchandise through a fire exit? Can you believe that TWO kitchen staff colluded with a cashier to check out unpaid products?

 

This is shocking. And this is unacceptable. Let me be clear today – we have zero tolerance for breaches of integrity. We have been building up the Asset Protection team and technology, so perpetrators will be caught.

 

It’s disappointing that some of our former colleagues had to learn the consequences the hard way. The penalty for integrity failures is immediate termination from the company. We will file a police report, which will stay on the offender’s record permanently. Don’t risk tarnishing your reputation with a criminal record which will affect your employability the next time you apply for a job.

 

So my ask of you today is simple. When it comes to stealing from the company, don’t do it. If you see anyone behaving this way, report it. This is important because if we do not hold each other accountable, we all lose.



Ultimately, when we fail to uphold integrity, we all pay the price, through higher prices as customers and lower wages and benefits as staff. Doing the right thing is always the right choice. We have the reputation of T&T, and of us individually, to uphold. This way, we all win.

The backbone of maintaining a safe and reliable shopping environment

(College store) Store Admin Dept. Zoe Wong


The leadership figure at the CL store with outstanding skills and a friendly attitude is none other than the Assistant Grocery Department Head Leon. He not only excels on the sales, but also silently supports the overall operations at the store.


This commander's motto is "lead by example". He is always happy to drop whatever he is working on to help colleagues in need, fostering cooperation within the team. He treats his subordinates with kindness and warmth, always shows concern for their work and lives, encouraging them to strive for excellence, and is much beloved by his subordinates.


Besides his duties in the Department, Leon always takes on the role of night duty manager and knows the store very well. He routinely inspects the Kitchen Department, ensuring its cleanliness is up to hygiene standards. From the cleanliness and water quality of the Seafood Department's tanks to the temperatures of the coolers and freezers, nothing escapes his keen eyes, and is how he ensures product quality and safety.



At the CL store, Leon is not just the guardian of quality, but also the frontline of the team. His efforts and dedication have provided customers with a safe and reliable shopping environment,  and has contributed significantly to the CL store's operations. Let us salute this hero who works quietly and diligently!



Creating our own legend

(Store Support Centre – Eastern Region) Central Bakery Dept. Jennifer Yuan


Since joining T&T, I've always found the Bakery Department to be a fascinating and creative place, as it involves developing new products and catering to trending items among influencers. Take the Mango Toast for example, from launch to the end of sales, this one single item generated an impressive sales figure of 110,000 units. And what's more noteworthy is that this product is exclusively available at T&T.


When developing a new product, you not only have to consider the cost, but also face the challenge of not having a recipe for reference. At the same time, you also have to ensure the production process aligns with practical operations. In Japan, there is a store called Truffle, their flagship product is a seemingly plain bun with no filling - Sea Salt Truffle Roll, limited to just three per customer, which has gone viral in Asia. Due to the expiry date, I cannot bring back physical samples, and without the recipe or knowledge of their production techniques and processes, I can only verbally describe the taste and texture to our chef based on my memory.


After countless failed attempts, our team ultimately developed the T&T Signature Pure Butter Sea Salt Truffle Roll, bringing customers warmth with each bite. And just like that, we finally created our very own legend.








Negative online comments are strictly prohibited

In today's social media-driven world, sharing opinion online is very common. While we value freedom of speech, it is important to recognize the responsibilities and consequences that come with negative online remarks. Recently, a colleague failed to discuss the company and colleagues in a respectful and appropriate manner, including malicious attacks and disclosing colleague's personal information, and needs to be held accountable for their actions.


Every colleague, including management, all experience moments of imperfection. Whenever someone feels aggrieved or dissatisfied, they can seek assistance or provide feedback through various channels within the company. We encourage our colleagues to speak up and voice their thoughts and needs, and resolve problems together to create a better working environment. But it is important to remember to use the appropriate methods and channels. Malicious online attacks towards colleagues or the company, making negative comments and disclosing coworker's private information or revealing company confidential information are all in violation of company regulations and are strictly prohibited. 


Mutual respect among coworkers is one of the emphasized cultures within the company, and the company will not tolerate any behaviour that damages the reputation or privacy of others. This behaviour not only has a negative effect on the overall work environment, but may also bring legal issues. We hope everyone will adhere to the company's code of conduct, and maintain a harmonious work environment to promote personal growth and the success of the team together.
