激流勇進,勇於承擔


2021年對於DF這家剛剛誕生一年不到的新店挑戰重重,對於我店冷品部副主管高超來說更是意義非凡。他經歷了角色轉變:生活上變成了新手奶爸;工作上被任命為冷品部的副主管,負責新店的籌備、開業、運營。面對事業和生活上的重要轉折和變化,他用一貫的樂天從容,積極應對,勇於承擔,百折不撓。


他認真負責,每天都有條不紊地安排好日常的上貨補貨、下單訂貨、打牌換牌、員工管理等。這次面對BC到AB的貨運困難,高超帶領冷品部的員工激流勇進,不屈不饒,勇做先鋒,在獲知BC的貨車無法正常到店的消息後,第一時間盤點自己的庫存、跟商品部和專員溝通、積極組織本地貨源、最大限度保證商品的豐滿度,保障了冷品部的正常運營。

從開業以來冷品部一直表現優異,每期銷售、GP達成率都超過100%。一分耕耘一分收穫,高超努力拼搏、勇於承擔的精神我們都有目共睹,所以他被評選為我們本年度分店的最佳員工,希望其他員工能夠向他學習,堅定一個信念:付出過的努力總會有美好的未來在等待!

關心部屬,發掘人才


Wei Zhang是CC店菜部主管,他時時關心部屬的未來,如果部門內有綜合條件不錯的員工,Wei都非常樂意給他們晉升的機會,為公司留住人才。Wei 作爲部門主管兼部門導師 (Hub Store Trainer),即使再忙他都堅持親自培訓這些員工,悉心栽培毫無保留地把所有相關知識及管理技巧傳授給他們。Wei 講解細緻有條理,深入淺出結合實際,使受訓的員工容易理解及熟練掌握。


Wei 獨具慧眼,在調到CC店的三年內,已先後從部門中提升了三位副主管,每一位都因爲受過嚴格培訓,為日後工作打下了良好基礎。其中一位年輕的主任,調到別的分店隨即被升爲副主管,隨後在短時間內又因爲獨當一面的出色表現,而再次被提升為主管一職。另外一位做事認真負責、學習能力強的年輕員工,在很短的時間內便從普通員工升做主任,進而再提拔至副主管。

除了在店內的培訓外,每當開新店,Wei 都派主任或副主管去支援,使他們有向其它分店學習提高的機會。而事實證明每一位都得益於當初的嚴格培訓因而工作表現出色。Wei 關心部屬的未來,唯才是用,真正體現了大統華文化的精神。

自助結賬,不是自助逃賬


自從分店有了自助結賬收銀機之後,受到了大家的歡迎,不論是顧客還是員工,都可以自己動手,快速結賬,避免排長隊的苦惱。


但是,最近卻發現有員工在自助結賬時,有幾樣商品沒有掃描就直接放進購物袋中,渾水摸魚,把付款跟沒付款的商品一起拿走,離開了分店。這名員工已經被解雇了。


自助結賬,除了方便大家可以快速結賬之外,其實也是一種信任的表達,因爲一切商品都是由你自己動手掃描或選擇品名項目,以及最終付款,我們相信大家都會誠信操作。但是,卻還是有人濫用這種信任,把自助結賬當作可以自助逃賬的地方,殊不知分店的攝像頭已經清楚地記錄下一切。


誠信第一,不論在哪裏,都請切記不要抱著僥倖心理,因小失大。

Despite all obstacles, take on the accountability

The year of 2021 has been meaningful for DF store, there have been many challenging moments for a new store within a year. Especially for the Assistant Department Head of Dairy & Frozen department. He has gone through the change of character in life to become a new dad, has been appointed to be the ADH and responsible for the new store planning, opening, and operation. Facing such drastic changes in both of his life and career, he always kept his chin up and took it very positively. The work ethic is remarkable and willingness to take on ownership.


He takes on each task in a serious manner, handling the daily duties such as restocking, ordering, price changing and people management. Especially facing the most recent natural disaster in BC, causing a major delay in goods transfer and transportation. He was leading the team calmly and take proactive action such as inventory control and proper communication with department specialist to maintain the fullness of products and the proper operation in D&F department.

Since store opening, D&F department has been performing consistently and over-achieving of its sales target and GP. Hard work pays off, his work ethic and accountability are well proven track record and it’s an honor for him to be chose as the best employee in store for the year. We wish that everyone can learn from him and believe in faith. There’ is always a bright future waiting for you.

Show your caring and discover the talent


Wei Zhang is the Department Head of produce at CC store, he cares about the future of his team member by discovering their talent and provide the right opportunity for each to retain employees. Wei being a DH and Hub store trainer, he would always take on the training on his own regardless of how busy he is. He provides all proper training by explaining everything in detail.


Wei has a special sense of discovering employees’ talents. He has promoted 3 people to ADH within 3 years time in CC store, each one of them have gone through the series of training to build the proper foundation for their future. One of the supervisors has been promoted to an ADH shortly after a store transfer. Due to his ability, he has been promoted to a DH in just an eye blink. There was another associate who was promoted to supervisor, then proceed forward to an ADH.

Other than in store training, Wei has always deployed their team to support all new store opening to increase the opportunity of learning. The fact has proven that each one of them has been benefited from the training from Wei. The way Wei treats his team is truly mirroring the company culture of T&T.

Self-check out is not free check out


Since stores have introduced the self-check out counter, feedback has been positive whether from employees or customers. People can handle transaction themselves without being stuck in a long line up.


However, it’s brought to our attention that we have identified an employee was taking advantage of self-check out without scanning some of the products. Then unpaid products are being mixed with the paid products and left the store with it. This employee has been terminated immediately.


Self-check out is meant to be a quick and convenient solutions for shoppers, which is also a sign of trust because you get to do everything on your own and pay. We believe that integrity is important, and trust needs to be built. However, the system is being abused and taking advantage of. Don’t forget that there are CCTV capturing all this information.


Honesty comes first, no matter where you are and what you do. There are always consequences that people must be accounted for.
